As of October 2026, reports of the Bank of Baroda (BoB) statement password differ. The format two independent guides agree on is your Customer ID; your registered mobile number and first 4 letters of your name in lowercase plus DDMM are also reported. If Neha Joshi's Customer ID is 123456789, she would try 123456789 first.

The password format

Bank of Baroda does not publish the PDF password rule on its website, so the formats on this page come from independent guides that agree with each other. Treat them as commonly reported, not officially confirmed. The email or message that delivered your statement states the exact format, and it is always the one to trust.

First 4 letters of name, lowercase + DDMMneha2207Easemoney (as its main format)

Easemoney leads with the name rule and gives the Customer ID as the alternative. ScanPilot leads with the mobile number, gives the Customer ID as the fallback, and says the name rule did not open the statements it tested. Because the reports differ, the statement email is the authority for your file.

Worked example

Neha Joshi (made up) has Customer ID 123456789, mobile 9876543210 and was born on 22 July 1990. She tries, in turn:

  1. 123456789
  2. 9876543210
  3. neha2207

If the password doesn't work

  • Read the statement email. Bank of Baroda's covering email or the download screen usually states the format.
  • Customer ID vs account number. They differ. The Customer ID is in your passbook and the bob World app.
  • Self-downloaded statements from bob World or Baroda Connect are sometimes not protected.
  • BOBCARD credit card statements use a separate name-and-date format, so the account password will not open them.
  • Still stuck? Ask your branch to confirm the format.

Removing the password so you don't have to type it again

Once you know the password, you can keep a copy of your Bank of Baroda statement that opens without it, which also helps when a loan, visa or tax portal rejects locked files. On iPhone, iPad or Mac you can do this with UnKey: open the PDF, enter the password once and save an unlocked copy. It works offline, nothing is uploaded, and any password you choose to save stays in your device Keychain behind Face ID or Touch ID. UnKey only removes a password you already know; it cannot guess or crack one. On Android, the PDF opens with the password in Google Files, Google Drive or Adobe Acrobat, and printing it to PDF saves a copy without the password. On a computer, the print-to-PDF option in most browsers does the same.
